What does the integration do?

The integration keeps your contacts in ActiveCampaign and your customer records in GECKO up to date at the same time.

By connecting you achieve:

• Newsletter sign-ups and unsubscribes in GECKO are registered in ActiveCampaign
• Newsletter unsubscribes in ActiveCampaign are registered in GECKO
• You can use the best features from both systems
• Option to transfer all existing customers who have opted in to the newsletter to ActiveCampaign

How to get started

1. Go to Settings → Integrations and click See more under ActiveCampaign.
2. Click Connect and approve access with your ActiveCampaign account. Alternatively you can enter the API key and account name manually.
3. Under Connect to list, choose which ActiveCampaign list the customers should be placed on.
4. Check that Webhook – Callback url shows a green status. This is the address ActiveCampaign reports unsubscribes back to.
5. Save with Update.
6. To bring your current recipients across, tick Transfer all customers who have opted in on newsletter to ActiveCampaign and save again.
