Guides - Online payment settings
Online payment settings
This is where you decide how Gecko handles your online payments: whether the money should be captured automatically every night, whether you can refund from the order, and whether the payments should be exported automatically to your accounting software.
Get startedGo to 'Settings' > 'Online payment' > 'Settings'.
(1) 'Allow refund on order': You can refund a captured payment from the order under 'Edit' (see Edit online order). This requires your own payment gateway. (2) 'Create invoice for autowithdraw orders': An invoice is created for orders from automatic withdrawals, and you can choose to have the invoice sent to the customer by e-mail. (3) 'Activate auto capture of online orders': A job runs every night and captures the reserved online orders according to your choices below. (4) Under 'Send report to email' you can get a report of the captures. (5) 'Automatically archive the order after successful capture': The order is set to 'Archived' when the money has been captured. (6) Choose for each type of order when to charge:
(7) Under 'Automatic export' you choose whether the payments should be exported automatically to E-conomic, Dinero, Billy or Business Central (see below). (8) Click 'Update' to save. |
Automatic export to accountingIf you choose an accounting program under 'Automatic export', the fields you need to fill in to connect to it are shown:
Under 'Export as' you choose whether to export invoices individually, invoices totaled by date or orders totaled by date. Under 'Include in export' you choose which payments to include, e.g. online booking or vouchers, and under 'Start date' from which date. Under 'Account plan for automatic export' you enter the account numbers, with and without VAT, that item groups, online payment types and e.g. sold vouchers and multi passes should be posted to. With the button 'Waiting for export' at the top you see the payments waiting to be exported, and under 'Show exported' the ones that have been exported. |
