Guides - Signup fields

Signup fields

Event signup fields make it possible to collect different information about the customer when they sign up for an event. The fields work in such a way that when a person wants to sign up for an event, they are asked to fill in the fields you have created.
You decide the order and structure of the fields yourself, and you can make it mandatory to fill in the fields before the customer can continue.

The fields can be both text fields and choices, where the customer must choose yes or no – or simply accept by ticking a box.
At the top of the page you can see an overview of the event fields you have created, and create new event fields.

To create a new field, first enter a name for the field. This name works as the question the customer must answer.
For example, the name could be 'CPR number' if you want the customer to enter their CPR number. Then choose which type the field should be.

You have the following options:

Checkbox: The customer must approve/accept the 'question' by ticking a box. This field type is required, i.e. the customer must tick the box to continue.
CPR-Nr: Enter CPR number (can be inserted automatically if it is filled in on the customer card).
Customer gender: Here you can decide whether a gender field should be shown under customer information.
Customer number: Here you can decide whether your customers should enter their customer number.
Dato: Enter a date. You can set the default value to today's date.
Drop-down: Create predefined answer options in a drop-down menu. The customer answers the question by choosing an option from a list. Remember to create the customer's options.
Email: The customer must fill in their e-mail address.
Kun tekst (ingen felter): This field type differs from the others, as it is not a field the customer must fill in, but a 'field' you can write a text in. It can e.g. be used to insert headings or remarks.
File upload: Upload a file to the record.
Tal: Number field. Please note that only whole numbers are allowed. If you want to be able to enter decimal numbers, choose the type Text or Text - Regex.
Text: Text field - one line.
Text - Regex (regular expression): Predefine the content of the text box.
Text - Stor: The customer answers by writing a text. Letters, characters and numbers can be entered, and the customer can write several lines.

Then choose which priority the field should have. If you have created several fields, the priority determines the order in which the fields are shown. The higher the priority of a field, the further down the list it is shown. Which numbers you use as priorities does not matter; what matters is how the priorities relate to each other, i.e. which are highest and which are lowest. The fields are automatically given a priority that increases for each field created. If the order of the fields does not matter to you, you do not need to change the priorities. You can also change the priorities after you have created all the fields you want.

Then click 'Create space' and the field has been created!
